I'm 47 but in a darkened room I can easily get away with 45 ;) coz I'm so fit and healthy. Earliest game I remember is the '73 grand final. First Port game that sticks in my mind is the '76 Grand final - started actually going to games in '77.

I finished in 1999. Me ancient!

I was 1/3 the way through my second marriage then.

It was a gentler time, when "... from Alex'' were the only links on TheHun worth clicking - at 4kb/s any more than 3 open windows and you were courting a drop-out/BSoD-combo. When a young fellow named Donald Dickie promised to revolutionize the clipper-based haircut industry. When Breakers made Paradise Beach look like Echo Point.

Wow! This thread took an interesting turn. I am 43 but don't mind saying i clearly don't look it.

All these old campaigners that look 20 years younger. Im 30 and look about 45 thanks to a Port Adelaide era Brent Guerra hairline.

Hated Year 12. Hated it. I finished it but lost interest midway through the year when the IT course I was going to do didnt need a TER score. Spent most of Year 12 talking to birds on ICQ and downloading music on napster and audiogalaxy. You could generally get an album in about a week if you had it on 24 hours a day.

Cruised through year 12 (2003) on being really smart but doing no work, promptly crashed and burned at uni because of a total lack of study work ethic, now work at a supermarket with a HECS debt the size of Brett Ebert's head and nothing to show for it.

If you don't mind me asking what is the average HECS debt and at what rate/how is it repaid?

Since we're age dropping I'm 37. Finished yr 12 in 92 and a maths& comp science degree in 95.

Been working with same employer ever since although spent most of that time on customer sites.

I was waiting for you to mention "the Henderson kids"

I found some of my Year 12 work on some old discs a few years ago. Lawd it was a disgrace. Battling to pad out 250 words, barely 2 sources per assignment. Repetitive, stilted writing that even an AdelaideNow sub-editor would knock back and I still scored adequately.

How do people fail? Do they hand in soiled tissues?
what subject were you doing?

Handed in a 10% assignment today, it was shit but still like 15 sources and 1700 words

Which one had a young Jessica Napier and Rose Byrne in it? That was my favourite whatever it was.

btw I'm 27 next birthday.

Never understood people complaining about year 12. Wagged half of it and still got into law school. umad, strugglers?

You mean Jay Schulz isnt the greatest forward ever in PAFC history, Like ever !

Yes he is. I'll fight anyone who says different.

Australian History I think. Something to do with women's suffrage or the war correspondence of CEW Bean or some rubbish I could've slept through with a tin of International Roast onboard.

I'm a 16 year old who's been here for 32 years.

Breakers was my favourite show when I was a teen. Did they play that at like 5pm then a replay at 10:30pm? Greatest idea for a soap. No matter what you have on you never miss an episode

17, think i'm one of the youngest here? YoungsterPA is younger than me

I'e got plenty of VCRs of footy from circa 04/05 but the games i can actually remember are from 06

Like i dont remember Port choking at all in finals, or the "dream final" or the first ever showdown win

Remember Ports draw to carlton in 05/04 though, had to catch the bus home, most awkward bus trip ever

I'm old enough to tell you what ads were playing during the telecast of the colossal 2001 round 17 clash against Essendon, but young enough not to recognize that Stephen Daniels was a spud.
