I can't remember the details of the first one, but the second one you made a bent card go from the middle of the pack to the top instantly. I was impressed, considering I'd previously been witnessing you drinking the same amount of beers as I was.
More like you were on the beers and TSW was on the raspberry vodkas.

Gee I saved a lot of old Port photos to my hard drive.

My dumb sister (the older one for those of you playing at home) has delayed buying her soundwave ticket and now that it's sold out I will have to subsidise some ridiculous price on ebay for her, or sell mine and not go. :(

Well I brought mine at 9:00:01 on the day of the Pre-Sale and then I found out about 2 days later that Soundwave falls on the Semi-Final day of my local cricket comp. We are a strong club, with what looks like a particularly strong B-Grade team this year.

Therefore, I may, unfortunately, have a ticket available at normal price.

:(

Speaking of memes...

Wtf is going on with the bombardment of them of facebook recently? It's like these computer illiterate dicks are now suddenly discovering them, when you know they've been around for YEARS.

There was once a time when memes where funny but this recent onslaught has killed it. Apparently everyone now thinks they can make one.

"Labeling Adelaide supporters as 'disgraceful' for not showing up to the game Friday Night is unjustified. The only ones who should be labelled as disgraceful are the AFL. Three reasons why:
1) Money. Not very many people can afford to pay 50-80 dollars a ticket 2 weeks in a row. Compounded if you have a family.
2) time slot. Starting the game at 8.10pm. No family is going to take there young kids to a game when they won't get home until midnight. Why did you have this time slot? Because people over in WA could watch it on TV.
3) TV. Showing every game live.
Why bother doing all the above if you can sit in the comfort and safety of your own home to watch the game.
You rave on about all these huge TV deals the AFL is getting and then winge when nobody shows up to a game.

End rant."

i dont even.

I can sort of understand that point. Sort of. But that's surely not the reason the crowd was so shit.

We all know it was becaues it was the last day of the show.

^Which'd be all well and good if they didn't make a sport out of hammering us for our crowds, finals or otherwise.

It's like all the front-footed preempting of any finals-related trolling of them. Because they were so passively respectful of our failings circa 2001-2007.

not really, its how the finals works and has worked like that for some time, you lose your first final you play the next week.

its hardly an excuse for a sub 40k crowd to a final, especially when you are apparently numero uno in this town.

"ZMGODZ. It's, like, beacause we thought there was only 31,000 seats beacoz of Poortz Bay Coverz. LOLOLOL

haha I can't even remember what I did?

The one where you tear the corner of the card. That was insanely good considering how hammered you were.

The Crows fans that opted for a vow of silence last week will be right in my face this morning. You can't even take those 'supporters' seriously though

I am old. WTF is a meme and a Moo.

My best magic seem's to come out when I am smashed.

Mr Phil Austin obviously hasn't followed the AFL for very long.

If he had done so, he would know that the AFL always schedules Friday night finals in Adelaide at 8:10. Of course, the crows haven't actually played in many Friday night home finals so perhaps his ignorance can be forgiven.

The attendances at Port's last two Friday night home finals have been 37,750 against West Coast in 2007 and 46,978 against St Kilda in 2004.

Also, the crows got 50,393 to their Friday night home final against Essendon in 2009, a game they were expected to (and did) win easily.

So timeslot and money don't explain the pathetically low crowd last Friday. The more likely answer is that the loyal crows fans stayed away in droves because of all the speculation during the week that their team was going to lose and exit the finals in straight sets.

The team for all South Australians? I don't think so.

The team for all front runners? Probably.

Seriously.

Who cannot afford $100 for two weeks of tickets individually? It's not like these finals have jumped out at the supporters, they knew they were coming and would be in at least two at home.

Ridiculous.
