The judges on x-factor are just pumping up their own singers for no reason. They're shit.
You're watching the X-Factor, the TV equivalent of someone peeing in a cup then telling you it's Solo. Of course it's rank.

I'm going to the Prelim on Friday night and to the Grand Final next week so no matter who wins out of the Swans or Collingwood I will have seen them live once more this season than my beloved Port Adelaide.

**** I can't wait til we are good again and I can justify flying around the country to watch us.

Is Dangerfield good enough for AA? Serious question. Most crows games I've watch this year he seems to go missing for big patches of the game. Then when he does get the ball he just bombs it long or gets tackled trying to burst through about 8 tackles.

Maybe I'm wrong because I mostly pay attention when they are losing.

Melbourne is more east of Adelaide than it is south, therefore it should be "going across to Melbourne" or "going over to Melbourne".

Mind you I've also heard people say that they're going down to Brisbane from Melbourne...

No it's not. Melbourne is way south. Further south than Mount Gambier, and we say "down to Mount Gambier", not "across to Mount Gambier".

He's most definitely good enough for AA. I even put $50 on him to win the Brownlow.

Edit: For anyone who actually cares (I doubt anyone does), the reason I've put money on him is:

1) Last year he polled 7 votes from 3 games. These are his stats in those 3 games:

17 touches / 3 goals
23 touches / 6 goals
27 touches

The rest of his matches were basically around 20 touches or under with no goals, or 10 - 13 touches with a couple of goals.

So he obviously catches the umpire's eye when he plays decently. He was more than decent in a lot of matches this year.

2) I don't want him to win, so if he does win, at least I have the consolation prize of bucks coming my way.

I'll bet you $1trillion that it is. For the record, Mount Gambier is further south than east from Adelaide, however Melbourne is not.

finbarr obviously didn't mean that you have to travel further south than you do east.

With the Mount Gambier reference, he is saying relative to Adelaide, Melbourne is lower. You have to travel further south than you would when visiting Mount Gambier.

PS this conversation sucks.

Edit: I looked it up and Melbourne and Mt Gambier are almost identically south. I don't know why I took the time to look this up, but Mt Gambier is 0.05º further south than Melbourne. This doesn't matter at all.

Just to put an end to this silly argument, Melbourne is 2.85º further south than Adelaide. Woo.

Look, just face the fact you live in the most arctic climate in mainland Australia and be done with it. :)

I understand that, however I had said that Melb is further east than south from Adelaide and the reply I got is "no it's not".

PS I want my $1trillion ;)

PPS Adelaide's average height above sea level is 50m, and Melbourne's is about 30m. So I agree with that point, Melbourne is lower.

Canberra has a lower average temperature  we have more rain though..but the more you talk it down, the less Crows supporters will come over this weekend so go for it!

I tried to give Blissid a like but I can't because of Port Powers problems effecting the interwebs and all of Big Footy.

Chuck em out I say.

Well my ID must have a perpetual problem becuase no one LIKES me.:(

Realised I have saved thousands in recent years through Port being shit for 5yrs.
1. Not keen on the usual one or two trips to a Melb game each year to see us. Minimum save $3000.00.
2a. No home finals tix. Say $650 for 4x. 2b. No 'away' final. Say $1200. 2c. No GF. Say $1600.00. = $3450.00.
Would be heaps more if we'd had an 01-04 sort of period of time.

Think I might go ahead with that bathroom reno...

I realised I should've saved thousands in recent years, but where the **** did it go???

That's why we can 'afford' to be members of the Captain's Club and sponsor a player. So there is no reason why we can't do it again next season.

We can stop when we go top, top, top.
