I was thinking about our next membership campaign and trying something a little bit different. Maybe focus on celebrities/high profile people who support Port. Eg Hugh Sheridan, Theresa Palmer, Kochie, Stuart O'Grady - try and aim at a new market. Something with a slogan like 'get on board' and Hugh could have a mic and walk through Rundle Mall, Glenelg etc and have random supporters (no ferals) saying 'get on board', then have one of the celebrities saying it, then maybe have the new coach saying it, then back to supporters, celebrity, high profile player etc - then finish with Hugh saying something like get on board - become a member....

Thoughts? But I definitely see someone like that appeal to a new/younger market, or undecided fans.

What do you guys think of friends with benefits? I had one last year for about six months. It was great. Until I developed feelings for her and realised I wanted to be more than friends, but she didn't, so... that kind of went sour and I didn't feel too great for a bit. Having regular sex with someone without developing some sort of emotion from either side is nigh on impossible. Every instance of either 'FWB' or continual one night stands I have come across have turned out this way (I used to be a school and Uni counsellor, I have seen enough instances to be sure about this). It can work, but it's rare.
