Yes thats why I said the sunset clause was scrapped.

In fact 2 x 20 year year sunset clauses were scrapped after this board discovered Ebert didn't meet the 200 premiership games between 1977 and 1996. criteria, which lead to questions about Gibbs and the AFL finally sorted this out. I think the AFL stuffed up 12 months after the Ebert change before scrapping the 20 year sunset clauses. Initially they only scrapped the 20 year father playing period, then they fix up the 20 year post team AFL entering the AFL clause.

The only relevant factor now is 200 premiership games before 1997 ie before we entered the AFL.

So after the the stuff up was fixed up it basically now says if....

Geoff Motley, like a Vic club champion form the 50's and 60's, had a kid in the mid 60's and then remarried in the mid to late 1990's when he was in his mid 50's and had another boy from that second marriage and that boy was eligible for the draft in 2018, then Geoff's boy from his second marriage qualifies to be drafted as a father son for Port, just like the Vic club champion's boy from his second marriage is eligible to be taken father son in the 2018 draft by that Vic club.

Thanks for clearing that up REH, I wasn't certain what the "sunset clause" was actually referring to.

I'm watching the footy show grand final review, and I feel embarrassed and ashamed. **** knows how the idiot players involved would be feeling

It's sad how well the GWS boys played the One Direction role. That Liam Sumner guy definitely has a career in a boy band ahead of him if footy doesn't work out.

Sidenote, all irony aside, that Gangham Style thing is genuinely better than most of the crap that gets played on the radio these days.

Port85 said:
If only Rodan performed as consistently year to year on the park as he does in the revue.

He does, one big performance a year both on and off the field each. ;)
I would moreso suggest that he performed really well for 90 seconds tonight, just like on gameday.

Just saw it for the first time.

Psy looks like a fella I went to school with. He was good at maths, science, piano and nothing to do with sport.

He qualified for the Stereotype Olympics but was prevented from going by his mother who had set an extra 8 hours of homework for that weekend.

Most of the stuff that gets played on the radio these days makes me sick, so I know how you feel.

What the **** was the shit that was playing when Rodan was on? Made my ears bleed.

That is also bad, dont let a small shit look good cause it is sitting next to a huge shit

at the end of the day its still a shit

A hypothetical for youse gize - seeing as the season is over.

If you had a big enough scale and you could weigh the Earth, would it weigh more, less or be the same as it was a million years ago? Now, no bullshyte about the mass v weight argument - let it be for this.

If you give an answer, also provide the reasoning.

Without Wiki'ing or Googling and based on my limited knowledge, assuming the geology is more or less constant (the extra mass donated by Theia having occurred yonks prior) how much would 6 billion humans weigh versus the animals/plant species that have been fished/hunted/polluted out of existence or into vastly diminished numbers?

Unless I've missed something - and I no doubt have - what other variable is there over such a timespan?

How does matter get on or off of the planet though? You might gain 10kgs over Christmas but that 10kgs has to come from something else.

I'm guessing slightly more as the weight of asteroids etc that have hit the planet would be more than objects we've sent into space over the time period.

I'm probably missing something obvious.

Given that the Earth exists in a vacuum it would be weightless ergo the same.

Gangnam Style explained by Korean Jasper Kim on Asia Pacific Focus program on 16th September ABC1. They had a South Korean special as South Korea might elect a female president.

If you want to know what Gangnam Style means literally and symbolically as well as about the Korean wave and a bit about K-pop, watch the following video on iView from 7:40 onwards. Unfortunately less than 48 hours before they pull it down.
