First time I saw snow was just outside of Takayama in Jay-pan.

Amazingness

I saw snow on top of a hill in Tasmania a few years back but I was a long way away.

Never have I seen snow up close or touched it.

I imagine it is cold.

It started to snow on my last day in New York. For some bizarre reason I was wearing inadequately thin track pants with no jocks. It was terrible.

Me and little Tarrant went on this hike with this guy from our Hostel who told us he was a tour guide.

He took us over this frozen waterfall. 20cm thick ice, about 50 metres across, underneath a 20m drop into rocks and water.

It was at this point he told us he doesn't usually do tours unless its in the Summer, so wasn't quiet sure if it was dangerous lol.

People from Hallet and Burra are uploading lots for heavy snow picks today on facebook

Nice shot.

Did you get up to Hokkaido while you were in Japan?
Insane amounts of snow. 6m in some places.

When I was a kid I was all about seeing the snow. Then my school put on a snow camp and I was like **** yeah! Then I sucked at skiing and found out very quickly that snow was just a whole lot of shitty ice and was easy to get sunburnt from. Screw the snow.

Weren't able to unfortunately mate,

Anything North of the dangerzone was restricted.

Tokyo was pretty much the furthest North we were able to go.

I really hate this unseasonal cold weather. At this time of year it's all about feeling the sun on the face and feeling energised by it.
But actually seeing snow flakes falling from the sky for the first time in my life has made this unprecedented cold snap worth it. Snow ffs! Snow!

Wasn't there weather reports that this spring was going to be a very dry few months ... sucks to be a meteorologist ... ;)

This was just posted on the clubs Pinterest page.

Who said pumping fists, pregame circus acts and dancers weren't cool? They were even doing it in the 1950's at Alberton Oval.

I like Basketball but rarely watch it. Hate the NBL.
I love soccer and always watch it, but I hate the A-League.

Same boat with the basketball. Don't watch NBL (hate the 36ers, don't care what anyone says, they're a ****ing joke and a disgrace to the state INCLUDING the redbacks. If anything the redbacks are the worst, hope they never win anything) but I love basketball too, I love most sports.

I love soccer and do go to every AUFC game, even though the a-league is very very average.

I like hockey quite a bit when I watch it, but if its not in front of me I forget it exists.

I'm the same with Women's Volleyball except that I forget the volleyball exists while I'm watching it.

The first time I saw snow was in Milwaukee and it was real cool, light and fluffy kind of like how I imagined it to be. Then the next time I saw snow after that was in NYC, it was like a massive snow storm coming in but I had no idea how bad it could get. That night we went over to Jersey to see the Nets play the Lakes at the IZOD Center. It was starting to get heavy by that stage but we didn't think anything of it. After the game we had to find our way to the bus stop to get back which was near on impossible because everything in sight was just white. Finally found the bus stop and we had to wait an hour and a half for a bus, the bus then proceeded to go about 30km the whole way back to NYC. Suffice to say after that I hate snow.

Yeah, but only because of the temperature.
