....It was followed by Waterworld, which i'd never seen before. Personally i can't see why there was so much Waterworld hate when it came out.

Hubris. They just went crazy with Hollywood excess, spending mega-bucks and %^&*ing around in Hawaii. People were waiting to be unimpressesd and weren't disappointed. It was Mad Max 3 on a jetty, at the cost of a space shuttle launch. And Portia had it right about Costner forever playing the same role.

Was the most expensive movie ever made at the time, Kostner stayed at a $5000 a night oceanfront villa on a private island compared to all the other staff and actors who basically had to stay in tents, there were no toilets on set so whenever someone had to go to the bathroom they had to stop shooting and wait for that person to be jetskied to land & back.....and the fact that it was an incredibly ****ing boring movie.

Great idea, done terribly. Only decent movie Kostner has done is Robin Hood.

At the end of primary school, I brought in a shirt for the other kids to sign so I'd have something to remember them by. I went to the shops before school and I bought some sharpies because I figured they'd run out because there'd be so many signatures and messages. But nobody signed my shirt. They signed everybody else's. I had three little pity messages.

Anyway, it's my last day of year 12 tomorrow, and the same thing again is happening (apparently), and I think I'm just not going to get my hopes up.

Has been wrongly derided as a box office bomb but it actually made a significant amount of money, twas no Cutthroat Island.

Its the fact it only grossed half its cost at the US box office which is why its considered such a flop. Most expensive film of all time and it fell about $100m short of US expectations. Nowhere near the biggest flop in pure financial terms but its more to do with all the drama involved re: going almost double over budget etc and noone watching it in the US. Catwoman was worse.

My primary school one was covered, as was the highschool.

But man, 99% of the people at my school are no longer my friends, and most are tossers. Won't mean a thing broseth.

So just to summarise what I missed by sleeping last night,

Kevin Costner is shit and is exactly the same in every movie.

I hope JMP's birds aren't christened spits and swallows.

Rory is WhyAlwaysMe and I love him.

Will Ferrell is comedic actings answer to Kevin Costner.

Lance Armstrong? I made jokes when Neil Armstong died that he died of shame because his son was a drug cheat and nothing. Alan Jones using my line makes one crack about the rangas dad and all hell breaks loose. He got my noteriety that Jones bloke did.

Build it and he will come.

Halle Berry is the black female Kevin Costner.
