Nah they're OK, that was more a commentary on live music in general - in most cases its like a blurry, more contrasting version of the album.

I love live music.

I mean watching a live music DVD is always terrible but actually being at a gig and experiencing it if they are a decent live band is excellent.

The Black Keys are great, but they were great several albums ago. Lonely Boy isn't even close to their best song.

Saw the Black Keys at "Browns Mart" in Darwin a few years back.

They rocked live.

I like fuzz and feedback so live music is just perfect for me.

Actually I saw them in Brisbane after that and they sucked baws.

Darwin show 2 hours and awesome and $30

Brisbane show 45 minutes and shithouse and $65

I was pretty disappointed with my first live gig, which was Soundgarden on the tour for Superunknown. I love Chris Cornell's voice (on album), but **** me he couldn't hold a steady note that night, and there were hardly any of my favourite flourishes from the album.

By contrast, a band like Rage Against The Machine were exactly what you might expect, and I guess the Black Keys keep their stuff simple enough that they would be solid live too really.

I can't imagine that Radiohead live would be anything other than disappointing when compared to their albums (maybe more so stuff from Paranoid Android than their recent bleepier shit, and I guess stuff from The Bends would go well if they ever play it).

I like studio sound. I guess that makes me not hardcore, oh well.
