Karl Rove saying Ohio isn't over. Says the official Ohio secretary of state computer tally currenly shows a difference of 911 votes. Over 20% of counties still to report especially from Cleveland. But Fox backroom analysists sticking to their guns that its over.
$2bil to $3bil spent on the presidential and house and senate races and nothing changes, Obama stays in power wont change tack, the House will still be controlled by republicans and they wont change their tack and the senate will stay pretty much the same small democrat majority.
So two more years of gridlock - not much changes, maybe 4 years when 2014 congress elections the status quo .
Just be careful if you are in Pakistan and not US friendly. You might get bombed by an executive ordered drone.

Its not 81% of total votes counted. It is 81% of polling boths counted. In Australia because of compulsory voting we know what the maximum voters are. In the USA they don't know what 100% of the votes in are going to be.

Beyond Ohio, it looks like Obama will win Virginia, Nevada and Florida. He's also leading the popular vote head to head. It might not be a thrashing, but numbers-wise, he's had a sound victory.

Most definitely. But I think that was more because he was able to relate to idiots more, and a country that votes in George W Bush not once, but twice, is chock full of 'em.

The Yanks are weird when it comes to politics. The 40% (not certain, but I'm sure REH will correct me) who vote go nuts and the rest don't GAS.
I think it's over 50% nowadays... there's like 250 million + adults (don't know the exact figure), and 150 million vote.

Its a lot more than 40% for presidential elections. 40% tends to be the turnout for the congress only elections in the middle of the presidents turn.

Always and I stress always, make sure the roller door of your garage/carport is all the way up before you reverse out!
