I've seen 1-2 eps here and there on OneHD and unless they're censored to shit I don't get why it's so highly-rated. Shot like a telemovie and nowhere near as 'hardcore' as say, The Sopranos or Oz.

I understand a bunch of you are fans, so what am I missing?

But seriously, its not a show that I'll rewatch when its over, but I'm hooked. The deeper you go, the more balls there are in the air and you just don't want to miss seeing whether they'll be caught or fall into the abyss. Also its interesting to me how everyone is tied together in so many ways, and that they just keep getting sucked back in.

I could live without the compulsory montage over a song, but the rest is good. Also Ron Perlman plays a great villain.

But, its a slow starter, and stays slow. Still good though!

I watched about 6 episodes and found it too staged. Invulnerable super-hero bikers with a heart of gold didn't catch for me. But it's a pretty succesful show nonetheless.
Those US cable series have a pretty good strike rate though. West Wing is IMO the most perfect drama series ever. The Sopranos is till superb if I ever dip into a show on Foxtel, but it struggled towards the end. Mad Men is inspired but I only ever dip in and out. Boardwalk Empire is OK but it's only because it's not footy season that I persisted past about episode 8 and then then it seems to have sharpened up.

I was similar, had seen eps here and there and didnt bother. Friends kept rating it so gave it a go and its alright. Its a slow burn type series. A good 2nd string series that has some good characters.
