Why can't we change our logo already. This is one million times better than ol' mate fisty the lightning bolt holder.

Edit: Except the words should be on better angles. Especially Football. Not a knock, still looks good!

The original AFL logo was just an A.

Creative minds, the football league crest designers were.

.... i've been talking to my young teenage niece about making earings in AFl guernsey type earrings (particularly Port) because as I like to display my allegiance but I also like to wear jewellery. Would people buy them????

You need to be visible enough to make producing/selling them worthwhile and at that point you are highly likely to be nabbed by someone from the club/the AFL for copyright breach.

At the family day this year I got a photo with Danyle Perace and David Rodin at the same time and now they're both gone.

Hidden Comedy Channel gem. The League and Workaholics are two others.

The League is damn genius. Workaholics is on another level completely though, best comedy in a long time.

Edit: Oh, and don't forget Louie. That show made me rethink what comedy could be. Modern day George Carlin.

I love Louis C.K., but his stand up comedy is a gazillion times funnier than his TV show.

It is, but like I said - I think his show is reinventing what comedy can be. There are some full episodes that barely have any jokes, that are filled with fear, uncertainty and tension. They're almost exercises in emotion, leading to a climax where you get to release it all through laughter. As a show, there are funnier (although there are some amazingly all time funny moments in the show... like Louie's masturbation scene), but not many that come close in terms of quality.

It's very good and one of my current favourites, but I still reserve the term 'genius'. The Yanks are getting very good at this sort of thing and I'd say 'The League' owes a lot to 'Always Sunny in Philadelphia'. But a social unit based around fantasy footy is a great idea.

Doesn't work at all for me. I see the social incompetence, I don't find it funny.

Definitely! Except it's a lot more grounded. When The League gets a bit fantastical, it's still bordering on believable. Always Sunny is never believable. Great shows, I find The League easier to watch though. Always Sunny I have to be in the mood for.
