The only unbelievable part of the League is that a group of fairly average guys can consistently arrange meetings with/run into NFL players.
On a semi related note I saw Rex Ryan at Borders in New York at the Garden and instead of getting a photo with the fat c--t I snubbed him.

It is, but like I said - I think his show is reinventing what comedy can be. There are some full episodes that barely have any jokes, that are filled with fear, uncertainty and tension. They're almost exercises in emotion, leading to a climax where you get to release it all through laughter. As a show, there are funnier (although there are some amazingly all time funny moments in the show... like Louie's masturbation scene), but not many that come close in terms of quality.

Louie uses pathos very well. Great show.

The scene were he's rubbing one out and visualising his fantasy is incredibly awkward and hilarious at once.
Workaholics has a very funny masturbation scene as well. In the car. With the 'curtains'.

I do not understand the hang up when it comes to people saying Port Power. Honestly, people just say it because it's quicker and sharper then Port Adelaide Power.

Key and Peele is ok, but when watching it I always feel like they're short of material and that thats why every sketch seems to go about a minute too long.

OMG Workaholics is a show I have so much love for. I have worked with people like this (one was the lead singer of a death metal band IRL and tried to covertly organise gigs all day) and its absolutely perfect. The humor isn't in the social incompetence, its in the lies that they tell themselves and each other to get through the day, and what happens when they're exposed. The `curtains' masturbation scene is a great example of this.

Louie is outstanding but I wouldn't call it all comedy, more dramedy.

Should have asked him if he needed a new QB.

That's nice but no one calls them Greater or West or Saint or Gold. But people do call us Port.
Yes, people do call it "Port", because that's a name of a place. It's Port, Port Adelaide, or Port Adelaide Power. You cant pick and choose where the names fall or which randoms ones to pair together. It'd be exactly like calling it Gold Suns.

No it's not exactly the same as saying Gold Suns because no one calls the gold coast 'gold'. Your argument would be better if you used North as an example.

Tell me, do people have the same hang up when the SANFL team is referred to as the 'Port Magpies'?

Your argument is fundamentally flawed because Pr0t POwerz sounds like shit and was a majestical **** up by the club 124 years into our existence.

No, because convention says that you say the place name first then the nickname.

It's ok. You can just say you don't like it because you think it sounds stupid. There is no need to make up nonsensical reasons.

Nonsensical?

Holy **** are you in the right thread?

Funny you say that but in part through living not far from the Ramsgate and in part through once having been involved in junior footy I find I've met heaps. And as such I name drop consistently. Not because I initiate it but someone will say something about player X and I'll say "Well when player X was at an Auskick session at our club ...." or "He didn't look so happy when I saw him having to get directions on his mobile in the feminine hygiene products of the supermarket." The latter was a true story, and the player in question was very young and had obviously not learnt to draw certain lines in a relationship.
