Well Springsteen announced his Aus tour. No Adelaide date. Huge gaps for more shows (probably just Melb, Syd though). Really want to make a weekend out of it by going to the Hanging Rock show and then the footy the next day, but when Hanging Rock is 10km away from the nearest town and you're from interstate so you have no wheels and... well, it's all just a bit ridiculous. Hopefully they have some more info about transport soon.
Is it just me or has Springsteen all of a sudden become incredibly popular amongst the under 30s. Seems like every young hipster renegade is blabbering on about "The Boss" like some 45yo line worker from New Jersey.

Well I've been a big fan since I was 16 (2002), so I don't think it's all of a sudden. Maybe it's all of a sudden you've noticed it.
I don't doubt there are some young fans like yourself but I would hazard a guess that you would have noticed more of your peers are "in to" Springsteen now than they were a few years ago.

The opposite actually... when Magic was released, I managed to get a fair few of my mates into Springsteen. Wrecking Ball seemed to go by unnoticed however. I guess I just find it weird to judge youngsters getting into good music. It almost sounds like nothing will ever satisfy. If they only like new music, they're missing out on the good stuff. If they like old music, they're only doing it for the image. Can't win.
This is a relatively boring conversation.
I need to hear more Bruce Springsteen. Though he seems rather strongly overrated... we will see.
I wish to one day have sex with a Boost Juice worker.
True story.

My favourite is Streets of Philadelphia because it reminds me of cream cheese, Michael Vick and AIDS all at once.
