I don't follow soccer, so what does lifting the shirt up mean - is it some sort of subliminal message to the neanderthal soccer followers - why should they be upset? Is it any different to Tredder's phone call or McLeod's aeroplane impersonation? If they are different, then why?

Goals are powerful in soccer because there are so few of them. This pretty much means each goal warrants an over the top celebration, and these sorts of celebrations have become the norm, so now players are doing it all of the time, whether or not a goal is scored.

Thats a weird one. I hate them with a blinding passion second only to my hatred of the Camrys but you just want him to do well. Hope they sack him and he gets to a club I can at least hope go well.

AVB is a fabulous story. It'd be like Macca or Portia rising through the ranks to coach Port.

That said, Spurs'll be his last big gig if he flops there, a la Christian Gross, Fatih Terim and other small/intermediate league managers with a previously minuscule profile but who got called up to the bigs purely off of their managerial acumen and success.

Makes the accomplishments and longevity of the likes of Mourinho and Svennis look even more amazing.

Nah, i deal with knobs like fluro guy in my job every day. Going by the dialogue i reckon i know exactly what happened. Geordie guy wanted to change lanes and had enough space to do so. Angry, macho fluro guy thought "**** you, how dare you think you can take a piece of road in front of me!", sped up like a dick head to tailgate position just to make an angry, pathetic, stupid point, so Geordie guy quite rightly gave this dildo the finger. I see these macho road warriors every single day.
