I just backed a horse in WA that paid $16.60 a place.

Of course I backed it straight out.

Portia please review Shawshank Redemption.

I have never seen it because everyone says it is good. I hate it when everyone says a movie is good.

Pros: If you watch it you don't have to watch another Morgan Freeman film again. This is everything.
Cons: Lots of them. (PUN)

Its actually a really good film, sorry Eddie. For all that its about a banker sent to prison, its a hero's journey - I guess the fact he's a non-scumbag banker is how you know its fiction.

The film shows low points, and low points, and anyone who has ever felt the world is against them can relate to it (aka anyone who has been a teenager). There are a lot of powerful moments, and completely hopeless ones, which makes coming out of it all the better. The film finishes with a mighty **** You that you will definitely appreciate. There are no nails hammered through penises, but there is some ****ing rough shit.

I cried a few times (poor Brooksy). Didn't laugh at all. Have watched it about five times.

I would rank Shawshank Redemption high in my list of Most Port Adelaide Films.
