Mate you should see me at Adventure World all I can handle are the water slides and the one that goes straight up and down. Even the kids spinning ones are a struggle.

I watched Hitchcock on tv not that long ago and had no problems so I'll give End of Watch a crack.

Last time I went was a school thing a few years back. It was the coldest and windiest summer day ever.

Yeah the novilty really does wear off when you grow up and the rides don't seem as high or fast.

I quite liked the film adaptation of Les Miserables. Probably the best movie I have seen so far this year. Other than the fact that Russel Crowe can't sing, which made the beginning a little laborious. It redeemed itself throughout however.

I was disappointed throughout.

Firstly I was expecting a French movie about very sad lesbians and so I thought the cast would all be hot French chicks naked and looking for but not being able to attain scissor action and clam noshing.

Russell Crowe singing or not was always going to disappoint with those expectations.

Anyway, in light of today's events with the Australian swim team being raked over the coals (of which I don't really care), I recalled a story that Lucas Neill told SBS in a debrief following the 2006 World Cup. Supposedly, the Socceroos played the 'hackee sack' style game with a ball after taking a sleeping tablet. The first person who fell asleep had to go streaking through the training compound. He confessed this quite openly in a interview, when asked about how the team bonded over in Germany. Similar horseplay, no media hysterics followed. I wonder how that story would go in 2013.

Then again, swimming is a bit different I suppose. People who like the Olympics (who tend to be people who don't like sport, rather drama and controversy) are the kind of people that would tune into this fairly non-story.

The mens world cup team did not.

On the GD board there was a thread that people were making batting averages out of posts in threads they had created or some shit. You should head on down there with this one and blow the mother****ers out of the water Mr Mega Thread (not related to Brett Ebert).

It's obvious - he just didn't want to be with us and didn't try - coaching had nothing to do with it. I remember seeing and talking to him in a group at a club function when he was drafted and his body language was terrible. The rest of his career with us supported that view.
