I am. But as the entire operation is illegal, I think they just give a ****.[/quote]

Fair point.......................probably explains why I've yet to receive the more than 100 million pounds I've 'won' in several overseas lotteries:D

It's amazing isn't it. You would be surprised how many songs like this are subject to copyright fees etc.

To be honest, if copyright lawyers were around 2-300 years ago, the whole idiom of western classical music probably wouldn't have happened. There are moves to make it easier to parody songs now though - progress in music always comes from first copying the past.

A RANDOM POST FOR COMPUTER BUFFS, NERDS & HISTORIANS -

COMPUTER No. 9 by Andy Fisher (1966)

This is a song we never heard in Oz. I only heard it when I made my first landing in Hong Kong off a Pan Am 707 R&R flight from Saigon in May 1969. It was on all the Wurlitzers in all the bars. Consider that back then there were over a hundred such establishments on either side of the harbour. Put HK$0.50 in the jukebox and go travelling with the Bee Gees and Massachusetts, Scott McKenzie and San Francisco, the Beach Boys and Hawaii, or just tap a foot along with this one.
It became my signature song for those few days and long nights spent touring, and I kept singing it in bits and pieces until I drove my mates over the edge (which was never far away).
It's a sequence of nonsense rhyme to the tune of Dance of the Flowers, same as Alan Sherman's Hullo Muddah, Hullo Fuddah.
Thing is, Andy Fisher produced this in 1966, when a computer was as big as a small house and most people had never heard the word.

I've been looking for the song on Google for years and years. I post it here for trivia sake and the minor education of a sympathetic few, not to forget my psychiatrist.

My wife is a wonderful person. She's recorded the song as her ringtone. She gets a thousand calls a day. I'm back again, it's May 1969 and I'm in the Pussycat or the Spider's Web or the Hot Pants or... you bet... the Magpie...!

Went on the one in Singapore.

You certainly do pay for any "L' series lens.

At times it's hard to see much difference between images shot with a high quality lens compared to much cheaper versions. Look around - this Canon site has some excellent lens threads (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php).

What's your main purpose for the 24-70mm? I've shot with that one myself, it is good. Not so sure it's worth the cost though when I've compared shots taken with that lens to other much cheaper, similar types.

Is a very good piece of glass though.

Oh, I've already bought it - had the L series 70-200mm so I needed the 24-70 for portraits etc and the F 2.8 was the selling point. I know you can get Sigma lenses that are cheaper, but I don't know...I think I much prefer sticking with Canon glass because you know it's quality. It's the same reason why I went with Canon over a brand like Sony or Fuji - there's a certain aura about Canon/Nikon gear that people seem to 'respect'.

Just ranting about how expensive it is though.

Until one of you mob can bowl a leg break like Shane Warne

STFU!

Warney for President!
Not sure Warney could grip the ball anymore to rip a leggie down, what, with all the Nivea Hand Cream he would be going through.

He looks like he lives on celery and water now. After one over he would need a pizza transfusion.
