So my mate went out and bought a huffy slider the other week.

We went out with it last night and wow it was fun.

Two 19 year olds out at a skate park pretty much on a tricycle that drifts. The looks we got from all the tough kids on their BMX bikes

They go alright for a kids toy hahaha. Except being 6'3" with jeans on its tough to get around felt sorry for how constricted my balls were.

Personally, I think he's a manipulator of the highest order: He knew he screwed up taking the "high ground" and making a big deal out of a couple of minor issues then realised if he played the sympathy card all would be forgiven.

A couple of things:

• Who hasn't witnessed a murder in South America? 60k unsolved murders in Brazil between 2001-2011, 24k unidentified victims... just saying it's a violent place, if you go there be prepared that you might see some shit.
• Playing the depression card is like celebrities playing the addict card. You cheated on your wife? Shame on you. What, you're a "sex addict"? Oh you poor thing.

I don't want to be insensitive on the sexual assault issues, but there was no need to specifically name them as a source of depression unless there was a bit of sympathy milking involved.
I'm biased because I hate pseudo-intellectuals and his letter to Obama made me want to puke in the sink.

There's obviously a good possibility he is using those things to manipulate the situation. But I don't doubt those things happened..and how they affect someone varies, everyone is different. Apparently Buckley was aware of these things with Harry O for quite a long time now. If so, it's also very probable that he simply kept things bottled up, and a few issues which have crept up lately, like the racism thing, and apparently that sexism thing at Collingwood, have tipped him over the edge.

Regardless, if the man has issues to deal with, he should be left alone to deal with those issues, because I don't think it's the publics business what is going on in a footballers personal life. I certainly do not give a shit about what he saw in Brazil, or the experiences of his friends or family. I don't think that should sort of stuff should be making the national news, as one of the biggest sports stories of the week. Certainly those are serious things that have happened, if they happened, but like you said, they are no different to the tens of thousands of other murders in Brazil.

End of the day the media is just feeding off this stuff for ratings.

The man has a foot injury, in case anyone forgot...the media seem to have.
I'd rather hear when about his injury and when he we will be able to play again, then any of that other bulldust.
