Im ok, i'll go to bed pissed off because the Aussies lost. Like you said, its only cricket.

Wont help me though until the next Test. If we dont beat St Kilda.........I'll live.

I've lightened up Ford. :)

Put a couple of songs in the drunk posting thread, it might cheer you up. ;)

I guess I've seen us win close ones, I wish I could just remember them at times like this. :(

Right flick over to SBS and watch then climb Mont Ventoux.

Ride for 220 kms and then climb 22kms up Ventoux. The last 8kms it looks like the moon as the Vikings chop trees down many "moons" ago for ship building and as a result all the top soil was washed away with the rains and snow melting as there was no roots to hold the soil in.

Half a million people up the hill. 19kms to go as i post

I heard a snick and thought he was out as his bat was a long way from the pads. My intial reaction was he was out and i was surprised it was a half hearted appeal.

DRS got it right. DRS would have got Broad right if we were allowed to appeal.

Looking like another cracker series after 2005 and 2009.

**** more lack of sleeping coming.

Off to watch castles in France?

And herein lies the issue, inconclusive is supposed to mean umpires call (hence one LBW we got shafted on and the poms didnt). How was that conclusive he edged that? He may well have, but fck me, to decide a test match, you reckon it was that conclusive 3rd umpire?
I agree mate that was not conclusive unless you had sniko and 3rd umpires can't use snicko

Not tonight, or should I say I've missed the ones so far thanks to the cricket.

There is some ugly building up the top of Mont Ventoux.

The Yellow Jersey died in the last km up there in 1967. He collapsed and a helicopter came and took him to hospital but he died in the chopper.

Looks a brutal climb. Sometimes sport is life and death and that's frightening.

Correct decision I think. Blame the batsmen who keep forcing us to rely on our tenth partnership and the captain who squandered all our reviews so we couldn't review the Broad decision. Well done to Haddin though. Went down fighting and made it a test to remember.

Memorial to Tom Simpson on Mont Ventoux who died there in 1967 when he was wearing the Yellow Jersey. People leave cycling related accessories as a mark of respect.

Warner in for Cowans but the next test is only 3 or 4 days away so Khawaja will come in. They have sent Warner to South Africa to play a game and get some form.

Steve Smith isn't a number 5 or 6 but they wont drop him.
