Totally off topic but... on the issue that this board is more strictly moderated than the Crows board, which I think is definitely true (their mods said as much in their Polec thread today):

I've worked in online community moderation professionally for a couple of years now, and it's astonishing how effectively you can raise the level of discourse by employing more stringent moderation standards. It cuts out the people who think "free speech" means "I can say what I like with no accountability", and it's absolutely vital to the health of the community... if it's your job to care about such things.

I do not, in all seriousness, think that the average Crows supporter is less intelligent or less of a good person than the average Port supporter... but the Port board on BigFooty is head and shoulders above any of the others I've looked at in with any depth on this site, and it's entirely because of the diligence of the mods.

Sorry, just an area of discussion that interests me and almost no one else.

(And yeah if this is too OT or crosses the line with respect to the rest of BF, I totally understand if it's deleted. )

Yes and no.
Personally I enjoy other people's opinions on our games/players/list and enjoy a bit of light hearted banter but would red card anyone that is disrespectful on his/her first post no matter what board.
