I left Westies and went and played for North Pines, the got invited out toPort for the old Samboy cup at 14. Stayed with Port until I was 18 while making Westies my local club again after 3 years. Played finals for Westies and tore my cruciate ligament and my cartilage in half at the same time.

That was the end of my footy career.

I played a year at North Pines also. I played Samboy Cup for Port too (Tredrea and both Donald and David Cockatoo-Collins were in the side).

Them and Sunnyboys, who have made a comeback. They are tucked away somewhere in the supermarkets, I pick up a few every now and then.

I would have thought so, but who knows.

Before my knee I was actually thinking of moving from Port to Centrals as I really didn't like the coaches out at Port.

So true, life would have been vastly different. Sometimes it's just meant to be. Sounds like you are very happy with what you have now.
