I love that the narrative of this is that the girl might have been some pure nordic princess kidnapped by horrible gypsies and now being returned to her first-world true parents like an aryan fairy tale, but that it now turns out its just gypsies & gypsies doing gypsy things all by themselves.

From a human perspective, I am absolutely not sure that moving the girl from her `parents' and home in Greece is going to improve her life, and may make it shitter.
