The Canadian football league final is Sunday- the Grey Cup. This year it is being held in Regina, Saskatchewan, between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Roughriders have played in 18 Grey Cup finals, and won 3. There is something tragic about this, since they are by far the best supported team in the CFL and the province doesn't have any other pro-league teams (Saskatchewan is too small to support an NHL team.)

The CFL is taking a risk by having the final in Regina. The weather can be so cold in November there that footballs can burst, but they got lucky and the forecast is for a high of -1 celcius- positively balmy for the Prairies in November.

I can't get into CFL at all but it just boggles the mind that a team can make 18 finals and only win 3. Hopefully it will be 19 and 4 by Sunday night.
