Lol no.

Blues Brothers ftw.

I was unfortunate enough to see the first hour of Blues Brothers 2000 on TV the other day. How tragically awful.

But it did trigger one of the greatest Simpsons moment of all time.

MARGE
Ooh. I never knew Jim Belushi made so many movies.

HOMER
Yeah, isn't it amazing? They're filming one right now in the bathroom. It's gonna be on towards the end of the flight.

JIMMY BELUSHI
Toga. Toga. Toga 2000.

HOMER
Marge. They stole my idea!

Why Dan Aykroyd ever allowed Blues Brothers 2000 to be made and to then participate in it will always be a mystery to me.

It is an abomination.

Allowed? Dan Aykroyd was the producer and the primary driving force behind the whole abomination.

He's a funny guy who's been in some good stuff, but it must not be forgotten that he's also a class-A dickhead.

You know what I meant.

He should have known better.

Money talks...

stunning photo, what camera are you using and where abouts were you?

I didn't take the photo, just sharing it from a post on Reddit. Thought it was a nice answer to the "why is the sky pitch black" discussion a while back.

The post had this info about the shot:

This is a 14 image stitch taken with the Canon 600D w/ 18mm kit lens at f3.5 ISO1600 and each image had an exposure of 30seconds. On a normal tripod I panned around for each photo to get a 180degree view of the landscape. This is in the middle of nowhere so the stars look pretty similar to this with the naked eye. No telescope was used. I used Photoshop CC to stitch and colour correct.
Taken near King's Canyon, NT.

That's an amazing photo. The stars remind me of Roxby, I used to ride 50ks from the mine and just lay on the highway, no noise, no unnatural light, it's something to behold.

He had less discernment than John Candy. A cheque in his hand and a camera in front of him was all it took. Take a look at his IMDb project listing and see how many inexcuseable things he was involved with. There are pr0n actors whose CV is more honourable.
