I'd rather play Henriques at 6 if the selectors are hell bent on an all rounder.

With games to come at the G and Sydney Steve Smith is more that capable of taking up the 10 or so overs old mate Watto is bowling.

After watching faulkner bat in india and being only 23 this guy is going to be good .....

I rate him highly...he was 12th man for last game I dont know if he is for this test but I think the selectors realise this too...

Henriques was one of our best bats in the recent test series against India and he's in form for NSW. I wouldn't play him in front of a genuine bat if the selectors go down the all rounder path he's my pick. For what its worth Faulkner won't be playing anywhere for the next 6 weeks after breaking his thumb yesterday.

The selectors are chasing that all rounder in the freddie flintoff style....watson was supposed to be this but has failed miserably....NCN just confirms this for me further.

I wouldn't play him in front of a genuine bat if the selectors go down the all rounder path he's my pick. For what its worth Faulkner won't be playing anywhere for the next 6 weeks after breaking his thumb yesterday.

Yeah shame about faulkner

Henriques is a better bat than faulkner but not as good as bowler...I can see faulkner raising his batting levels but dont see Henriques doing the same with his bowling
