I use Firefox, and even then the settings can vary the experience of individual users. But from my memory of playing with it Google Chrome can imitate the layout of other browsers so why not try downloading it but giving it an IE skin?

I'm totally not close to my family, so the whole concept is hard for me to grasp ...... That said this isn't a new relationship. I've been with her 9 years.

I feel our default positions are the same. My small and undemonstrative family are here in Adelaide or Mt Gambier. Mrs P's significantly larger and very interactive family are much more widely spread. Based on the adjustment I made and the benefit I feel I receive from it I'd say bite the bullet and make the trip. Karma may not shower you with gifts that week but over time it's impossible for me to see how going to Crystal Brook (2 hours from Adelaide) will not be a good decision.

Especially the fact she wants me to drive 3 and a half hours and back on Christmas day to crystal brook to see her family. I put my foot down and said no, and have stuck to it. She's pissed but seriously, I have to work in the boxing day sales, and I work right up to Christmas eve. Driving to a shithole like crystal brook can get ******.

That said this isn't a new relationship. I've been with her 9 years.

Not necessarily. I've got the option of sleeping/lounging like I really want to do, I generally despise Christmas especially because I'm exhausted by the time it comes around. The other option is going to see my family who are relatively close by. (I've skipped them two Christmases in a row to go to my other halves family dos, so they are due.)

My mum understands and never pressures me regarding Christmas, my dad used to run a business and she said he really didn't like Christmas and would rather sleep all day after the strenuous build up. He still got up early for the presents etc (though looking back, he was totally a zombie hahaha) also took all of us kids to several different houses for celebrations and food (and kept us all in check). No idea how he did it.

Absolutely no problems with Firefox - the best browser around and leaves IE for dead. It only takes a short time to get used to it.

Naturally, I'm ******* livid with the decision she made without first consulting me. Honestly what the ****. Especially a weekend day!

That shit is god damn sacred.
