I bought my first HATEBREED cd on Saturday.
Supremacy.
Had a couple of listens.
Solid gold hits all of them.
I'm going through a massive old school phase at the moment.... A lot of Dio, Sabbath, Megadeth, Pantera, Iron Maiden etc.
The technical term in acting is 'breaking the Fourth wall'*. I first came across it in my mid teens when my mother took me to see Antony Sher in Richard III at the Festival Theatre (don't ask). I went in dreading it and came out amazed. To this day I remember bits of him speaking to us.
* I can't believe I know the name of this this from the Graham Norton Show but I do.
That's why people are interesting, we all like different things. The only time I liked that style was in Ferris Bueller. That was the first thing I like about it!
You see that device occasionally in comedies but I don't remember seeing it in drama before.
Iron maiden only hit their straps with Bruce. Piece of Mind is one of my favourite albums of all time.Never been big on Dio for some reason. Iron Maiden "Run to the Hills" was the first 45 I ever bought but I'm not really a fan. Megadeth I like but Sabbath and Pantera I will never tire of.
I was listening to Eyehategod the other day and was drifting off to sleep and I swear I heard a Black Sabbath song in there somewhere...

His grandmother blames the nasty Australians, dear me what bad boys the Australians areSwann gives up when he can't win, the SAffies quit when they can. Both need a good dose of Kenny Hinkley!

Ditto with Dio, i do love Heaven and Hell (album) though. Maiden is great, just put Powerslave on. What an album.Never been big on Dio for some reason. No way, the first two albums are fantastic. Some legendary riffs going on there. That being said, Bruce makes those songs a lot better.Iron maiden only hit their straps with Bruce. Piece of Mind is one of my favourite albums of all time.

How raw is his voice here.. crazy good.
Really, in Diannos show in Tas, he pissed in a bucket because he didn't want to associate with the public. My cousins band supported the Paul Dianno / Blayze Bailey show in Adelaide recently. Said they were both awesome blokes.
You probably misunderstood that, in Tasmania everyone pisses in buckets.Really, in Diannos show in Tas, he pissed in a bucket because he didn't want to associate with the public.

Paul was pretty good on those albums, he's absolute shit now.Don't get me wrong Iton Maiden and Killers were good albums. I went to see Paul Dianna a couple of years ago and that turned me off of him totally. But there were some classic tracks there.
Bruce just took them to outstanding while Paul just gave us Eddie.
