So I'm watching my first Twenty20 Big Bash match.
Um, why aren't we booing The Chucker anymore?
This isn't the Australia I know.
a) he's playing for an Australian side now
b) he's one of the most likable people in cricket. It's such a shame he chucks
c) now that he's not challenging for Warne's rightful position as best spinner ever, the hate has disappeared.
Murali is my favourite cricketer ever.
But I find Australias hatred for Murali unconscionable when they happily hold a drug cheat, bookie cheat Warne in such high regard.
If your mother was a pickpocket wouldn't you love her more than the average pickpocket?
Or to put it another way, Warne didn't cheat every time he rolled the arm over.
I loved Warne as well. I grew up loving spinners.

I never judge an adulterer.

I keep recording and watching episodes of that show from Foxtel to see why people rave about it, it just doesn't click for me. I can see why it might be a cult hit but no, everybody loves it..... and I'm going to watch all of the second season of Breaking Bad.
If you go to the SCG today and you're not wearing pink are you refused entry?

Last night Walt and Jesse were in the lab and Walt refused to start the cook because there was a fly in there. 2/3 of the episode was, superficially, about catching the fly. It was clever and subtle but glacially slow, and most episodes I glance at are like that. I guess I'll keep trying.

So I've gotten myself into a ridiculous sleeping pattern (going to bed at 6am, waking up at 2-3pm) and I have to fix this before the 7th (going away). I was going to go to bed earlier tonight but that didn't work out. Instead, I'm not going to sleep until around 10pm tonight and sleeping normally in a last ditch effort to correct my sleeping pattern. I'm very much hoping this doesn't backfire and leave me tired and still with a shit sleeping pattern.
Edit: Oh, and I'm going to watch all of the second season of Breaking Bad.
That is my favourite episode of the series, but you're never going to appreciate it by watching it as a random episode. There's a lot of backstory that make the episode great, none of which you are going to know.
