Not sure they would have the stones for it...o_O

Was that the bald guy? He looked like he had just had about 30 spray tans each one of increasing darkness....weird looking chap.

Perhaps the magician on page 17 of today's Advertiser - he looks familiar - will develop a trick to make Crows supporters disappear

I'm hoping the GWS and suns give the finals a close shave next year. Purely for the reason that I don't wan them getting anymore top draft picks

GWS will get another top 3 draft pick and recruit another 195cm+ KPP gorilla.

The Suns will finish anywhere between 9th and 12th given a decent run with injuries.

It's a shame; I am actually very confused about what they're going to do with Cam McCarthey right now.. fits nowhere in the team.

WTF serious football talk in the random thoughts thread.... But I do think that if one of Lynch, Dixon or at a stretch Day can step up and become a solid key forward GC could push for the 8 for sure.

A NEW $300,000 foundation to fund the development of high quality attractions for the Adelaide Fringe is being launched today.

The Adelaide Fringe Cultural Fund will give three artists or groups $10,000 each towards their 2015 Fringe shows.

Fringe chair Judy Potter said yesterday that the Fringe is calling for benefactors to make tax-deductible donations to further develop the fund.
In the meantime, the Fringe has put about $300,000 of its own reserves into the fund.

“It’s always been an issue for us as a non-curated festival about how we can support artists,” Ms Potter said.

<snip>

News of the Cultural Fund delighted Vinh Giang and Matt Tarrent, who are presenting Deception, a show of magic and illusion at the 2014 Adelaide Fringe.
The two-man show is designed to take audiences through the journey magicians must take to create their magic.

“Our tag line is ‘honesty about dishonesty’, said Vinh, “but we are not that honest. If there are three steps to a trick we show two.”

Tarrent and Giang raised $11,000 on crowd funding site Pozible this year and said the cash had paid for improved props, more development and better production values. They said they would apply to the Cultural Fund for help in 2015.

Didn't TSW and his mate crash the Garden of Unearthly Delights at the Fringe a few years back with their magic show?

If Patton does another bad knee injury in the next few years he could be history. 2 full knee reco's before 20 isn't good. A 3rd by 22 would put him on the Leigh Walker highway.

Point being if Patton were to go crook, That's still a fairly tall team with 3 big KPFs (Boyd, Cameron, McCarthey) and a potential 4th on top of that in the next draft, I don't see the point in hoarding them. At least one or two of them won't get games, will not have shown a lot, thus will have little trade value in the future. No one is going to pay beyond a late first round pick for an unproven KPF who has played little AFL football.

If they get pick 1 they'll take a KPP, probably Goddard Wright or Mccartin.
If they get pick 2 or 3 they'll pick Clem Smith (who I hope slides to us, Pickett MkII) or Bampton.
Brampton and Smith, IMO, are the two best non KPPs in the draft.

GWS are also in a position where they can trade their draft pick for an established player. There was talk the reason the took Cam McCarthy to use in a trade with Freo in a Fyfe deal this year
