I haven't played much of CK2, I bought it but couldn't get into it after just one game, and haven't really played it since. I absolutely love Victoria 2 though, but I haven't played much of that in a long while.

Playing age of empires last night was an epic blast from the past. Me, my other half and two of my mates taking on 4 computers on black forest for the lulz.

Civilization but very different at the same time. I am a long time Civ fan but CK2 blows it out of the water in scope and depth. It took me 12 hours of game time to become King of Wales let alone the rest of Europe and the Middle East.

If you are a a Game of Thrones fan it has the BEST MOD EVER!!

Its the same for all paradox's grand strategy games TBH. I actually think Victoria is the hardest of the lot as it doesn't have near as good a tutorial, and the effects of what you do are a lot more subtle so its hard to tell what to do. CKII seems to have a really good tutorial etc, I just couldn't think of anything to do and started playing other games so didn't go back to it.

I played the shit out of Civ 4. Between that and Victoria 2 with all the expansions its hard to say what my favorite strategy game is.
