Talking about major balackouts...does anyone remember the one in Adelaide about '79/'80? I think it affected the whole city for most of a day..human error at Torrens Island. I remember that day as I was wagging school and taking the bus with a mate to the city. As the bus neared where my home was...yes, my mum jumped on the bus with my sister. They sat at the front where all the nerds and old people sat..we were at the back where all the cool people hung out. Never spotted me I remember the general panic in the Mall as shops had no power, I think one or two of the bigger ones had generators going, probably Harris Scarfes and Jonnies
