Did you ever support Port in the SANFL pre 97?

Complicated question. I lived in the country and as a kid I only went to games with my uncle during school holidays. He is a Port supporter, so he'd try to take me to Port v Glenelg games (late 80s, early 90s) which of course Port always won. Then I took a vague interest in the Crows when that whole thing happened. I can't quite remember when I first started gravitating toward Port but I remember watching the TV special when the club debuted its AFL logo and colours (1995? Maybe even '94?) and as cheesy as I'm sure that was I was pretty much on board by that point. I saw the 1996 prelim (Scotty!) and grand final (Meady!) and that sealed the deal.

Sweet! $100 on Port at 2.46!

Now please, please, please WCE dont let me down. Drunken joint bet with the bro of $50 at 246:1 for GC, GWS, Port, WCE multi

Plus we are taking on REH's challenge of, what was it 15 in a row 1.30 bets.

.....come on farrrkin!

*edit: Dammit, wrong thread. Mods plz move....farrkin!

Come on WCE farrkin, come on!

Accepted by who as a basic utility? Water, electricity and copper voice services are basic utilities under Australian law ...
I doubt there's a legal obligation on any level of Australian government to provide any of those, let alone all.

Not of the government, but by the government upon the wholesale suppliers/owners of the respective infrastructures.

Again no legal requirement. You build a house 20km from existing wires/pipes and contact any utility to be connected and see what they say. You will always find them willing, but at a serious price.

Holy shit! Good luck mate. I'll be taking a keen interest in that game from now just to see this result.

Have you considered laying off? The Bulldogs are at something like $4.50 aren't they? Put $2000 on them and you're looking at a big payday either way.

I want to do this but problem is its in Bro's acct and he is all gungho at the moment. He is certain that WCE have this inthe bag.

They definitely should win, but you just never know with the Bulldogs. They have a really solid midfield that could easily overpower the Eagles in the engine room and turn it into a close one.

Good luck!

Ride it out man. I don't know about you but in my multi WCE was comfortably the 'safest' leg.

As much as I love Ryan Griffen I'm over the moon he's not playing.

Do what you've got to do Phhht.

Nervous times.

Edit: You can get $4.55 with betstar.

If you going to place a bet that big open a new account or two and take advantage of some promo offers.

Ok, i'm gonna lay off as you suggest El Scorch. Gonna put 1000 on the dogs at 3.35.

Good move I reckon! It doesn't get much better than coming to the last leg of a big multi and being able to lay off on a significant underdog.

Hmmm watched an interesting show on Nat Geo just before... I think im attracted to Denisovans... could explain a lot... maybe I am one of them myself. who knows...

Smart move. Always lay off when you can.

If you ever feel dirty about forsaking profit on what looks like a sure thing, just think of Bangladesh defeating Australia in a 2005 ODI, GWS beating Sydney or Hasim Rahman knocking out Lennox.

Never risk a guaranteed payday, basically.

Especially when we're talking thousands of dollars and the ability to bet on a $4 underdog as a part of your layoff.
