Someone suggested an idea to me the other day, which I didn't think was a bad one.

They suggested a "Bleed for your club" campaign, a blood drive for the hospitals of SA/Red Cross.

Didn't think it was a bad one in terms of PR and helping the community.

I'm pretty sure something similar happens at local footy leagues

I know the SFL has done it in the past, then the club that donates the most blood, got some sort of prize (footys donated by sherrin?)
