I must be the least musically-inclined person on earth. The only bands I've ever been truly passionate about are Mr. Bungle and The White Stripes. Not too much overlap there, aside from hipster associations I guess. I mean, I like music, it just seems to be less important in my life than it is to most other people.

Then again I think I enjoy movies on a deeper level than most others, so it all evens out.

Excuse the philosophising, but I'm in an extremely good mood tonight.

Music is like an outlet for me... Nothing beats a live gig.

I'm on an endless journey looking for that next killer riff, hook, polyrhythm, odd time signature transition, crazy drum fill etc.

On another topic, I hate toilets that aren't my own at home. I just went into the work one and there was a piece of corn floating in it. One can only imagine the journey that poor little thing had just completed.

Going to a public toilet is the best, all you've got to do is get it in front of your toes. Zero ***** given if you make a mess.

Top 5 favourite bands....

Black Label Society
Down
Black Sabbath/Heaven & Hell
Tool
Pantera
Nothing much changed here, my friend....

#1 - Rammstein
#1 - KISS
#3 - Faith No More
#4 - Judas Priest
#5 - The Cult
#6 - Iron Maiden
#7 - Black Label Society
#8 - Scorpions
#9 - Dream Theater
#10 - Pink Floyd

Bands with a bullet ... Grand Magus and Alter Bridge.

Anyhow, I could do a top 50 and I would absolutely adore those in the 40's!

I'm on the same boat with music and movies. I have friends who look at me like I've killed someone when I havent listened to a new album.

Did you hit up that bird? ;)

Im passionate about both music and movies, though haven't found anything i like from either so far this year (outside of Architects new album)

Casablanca
Godfather (parts 1 and 2)
Blade-Runner (probably Scott Ridley's cut but I'm not a fanatic)
Pulp Fiction
The Castle
The Kings Speech
Jaws (brilliant in its day, harmed by familiarity and a heap of bad sequels)
Alien (as with Jaws)
The Magnificent Seven
Unforgiven
Three Clint Eastwood directed and acted movies I really like are Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino. Also like Mystic River and Changeling which he directed.

Unforgiven is just about the best American movie of the 90s, IMO.

We're just a bunch of internet geeks living vicariously through you.

Yeah, don't do that. The good thing about anticipation is that it's real even when you're almost certain to **** it up.
