I've just made it my PC homepage and deleted every other non-essential app to make sure.

Hey man charge your battery and read some emails.

No worries.

The result of a survey from the AFL site with the title taken from one of the questions, 'Would you miss a mate's wedding to go to the Grand Final?'
Some interesting stuff there and Port comes out of it well although I suspect many of the replies must have been made before the Sydney game and subsequent spuddish efforts.
FYI 74.5% would miss their mate's wedding although I think it's implied it is a GF their team is involved in. Otherwise would probably drop to 73%.

I'd miss my own wedding.
I wouldn't even be having a wedding if my missus wanted to get married on GF Day.
"This clearly isn't working out love."

This. Married in 2003 and my wife (to be at the time) knew September was out. If you're a footy fan and your fiance won't budge from a September wedding when your team is flying, it's red flag material. Embrace knowing then that you'd be walked all over and your views not respected if you got married and bail out before it's too late.

You have the whole cricket season to get married in...why even touch the football season?

Spring Carnival time man.

Day after Emirates Day > Round one of footy season is the wedding zone.
