Statins are no good. Was on them for several years, changed to 6 1500 milligram capsules of fish oil a day...viola, lower cholesterol. At one point my triglyceride count was 19

Statins are bad. They help maybe 1 in 30 people and the side effects can be horrendous. Not worth the risk.

Think what you want, but after being on both Crestor and Lipitor for years, without lowering cholesterol levels much, then switching to fish oil and now having acceptable cholesterol and triglyceride levels for the first time since the '90's...your young Doctor friend can keep his statins
