Someone's been playing Angry Birds...

Everything with milk in it tastes better out of a cardboard container.

I have literally no idea why but there is a mountain of empirical evidence
Yes. And everything with beer in it tastes better out of glass than aluminium or plastic.
Go figure.

It's beginning to look a-lot like Christmas when Len bloody Doof is on TV.

Far out, I hate Christmas lights in the burbs.

Christmas carols can get fugged, too...

Len Doof's lights are terrible, The house across the from him is way better.

I can't believe he wants donations to help fund his Saturday Night Fever style light show.

He did with three fingers. One of the greatest catches I have seen in any sport. Even as a Cowboys fan I couldn't hate on it.
normally im kicking things, throwing things around the room when a team scores a td on the cowboys, and i was at first but at carr for giving away a stupid penalty, didnt realise he caught it. amazing catch, not sure what he has on his gloves though, seem a bit sticky....

how funny was it when the ref called him out for his flop on the sideline, havent heard that trashing from a ref in the nfl before.

he will be a star for years and it will be a nightmare when they get cruz back next year.

I've been living in Nedlands for the past 3 years. Great location and it's super convenient to get around Perth either by car or bus. Fair warning, unless you're loaded or sharing a house with 5 other equally poor students it can be pretty pricey.

I'm guessing you're going to be working in the city? If you look at a Map and draw a little triangle between Nedlands, Subiaco and Mount Claremont you can't loose. If money really isn't an object you can expand said golden triangle to Dalkieth and Cottesloe.

Shenton Park or Subiaco (where I'm moving to next year) would be my pick.

Living in West Perth at the moment renting (at excessive rent price but nice place).
Looking at Wembley and Mount Claremont as well.
Keen to buy next year so see how I go.
Thanks for your help mate.

If you like wine it has an amazing wine list and the cellar has to be seen to be believed.

Beer garden is very good too.
Agreed, awesome wine list.
Print Hall is pretty good as well.

First time I saw them - must've been late-80s - I was like "that's it?"

Can remember seeing donation boxes out the front of his house a few years later.

Of course, they got ripped off...

But..you weren't wearing one. Hey stop him, he's stealing coats!
whenever I want a new coat I go to the cloak room at the Adelaide Club and say in my plummiest accent, "Pater had a few too many cognacs last night and forgot to pick up his coat. He sent me to collect it." I normally get three or four brought to me to choose from.

Believe it or not (I can't) I'll be a suited up city slicker next year. That said I do have a pencil thin blonde tache and post university celebratory rats tail going on at the moment so you weren't far off.

Turns out there's a wonderful little twilight zone before you go travelling for half a year where the girl friend will be on board for whatever ;)

So you're going to be one of the snobs giving me disapproving glares as I walk around the city in track pants and a T-Shirt during my time off?
