My beer is shit. But while they're nothing to write home about taste wise (the cider's have been good, though) they seem to have really high alcohol content and are a great way to get drunk.

I'm getting a complete 'real deal' beer making kit for xmas from the wife from brewmaster. Never done it before but am chomping at the bit to have a go. Any tips appreciated! (or not given you say your beer is shit!)

So on Monday I head off on the fishing trip of a lifetime with my best mate. Fly up to Broome and then head out on a 65ft flybridge cruiser living aboard for 7 days chasing marlin and anything else that will chase a shiny hook. In between bites I will soak up the tropical heat and sink copious bottles of beer. If I catch one I will post up a photo (marlin not beer)
