I have an irrational belief that any beer with 'dry' in it's name is just for young blokes who don't really like beer but like the image of being a beer drinker. I may have never drunk a 'dry' beer so this is based on nothing substantial except my middle aged curmudgeonliness.

Dont get me wrong, I love the taste of pale, but its not a chugger. 1 pint and im bloated and cant drink anymore.

I also think the taste of West End is nowhere near as bad as what people make out. Plenty of worse beers on the market.

Yeah, I'm also one and done with Pale these days. Sure I'll have a few at home, but if I'm out having a meal I'd sooner drink a Carlton Draught or similar tap beer lest I need to be evicted by the fat police.

Yeah, the looks changing surgery at the beginning was a huge clue. I was still unsure as to who the father was until part way through and wasn't quite sure where Noah Taylor's character really fitted in.
