I was actually more interested in these funny lookin' things

And yes, Episode III certainly had pacing issues. The one time we actually wanted to see more dialogue and character moments and less pew pew, whoosh whoosh, buuuuuzzzzzz...
There was only 1 character i hated more than jar jar.....it was that bitch padme.....all f***ing screen time "my people" "my people"...in that monotone s*** accent....

I also found it funny that while watching the Episode 1 making off, Liam Neeson says how he needed a stunt double for his fight scenes, as it was too much for him physically and he doesn't really do action. 10 years later...
Though obi wan was my favourite jedi his fight scene in ep1 was really weak

That was Kiera Knightley.

Man, a movie with a Portman/Knightley double team, and it involves the most dense and overdone costume design leaving everything to the imagination.

Really? Which part? After Qui-Gon dies and he fights Maul alone? I loved it! The whole Phantom Menace fight scene is classic, aesthetically amazing. Best Star Wars scene on a superficial level.

The Episode II Lightsabre fight was... unremarkable in every way.
Doku could have been so much more but he was a flop...

Yeah ep1 i like the dramatics of the fight scene just hated the way obi killed maul...thought it was weak....considering maul was more powerfu and had the strongest lightsabre created and had just killed qui gon jin who was a jedi master while taking obi on at the same time....

But i guess it was a typical obi win ....was probably one of the weakest jedi but always found a way....

Personally they should have kept Dooku as a Jedi, just like a rebel Jedi. Yeah Maul's death was a very sore moment, if only he could have survived and became villain for 2, 2 and a half movies, eventually being replaced by Anakin. That would have kicked arse, while Dooku served more as the enemy general who begins to turn the Jedi and that against the Republic/Emperor.

LEARNER drivers can be supervised by drunks in Western Australia because of an embarrassing oversight the state government is urgently trying to fix.

I wonder how many kids have driven their drunken parents home...
That would of made it easier for my parents to find time to take me for my hours.

Godfather 3 ... well I stayed the distance, as tribey suggested it's probably not as bad as it's remembered although the plot is hugely convoluted and because long stretches of the film are so dull it's easy to zone out of important plot developments. Too much Sofia Coppola, not enough Bridget Fonda.

Oh and any movie set in 1979 that has helicopter gunships opening fire on a building will instantly remind me of Blue Thunder.

Blue Thunder...a blast from the past

Ffs JEdi the best? You are smoking some good shit this week mate.
Anyone who does not have Empire Strikes Back as their favourite is a mentalist.

I agree but I also think Jedi cops a lot of shit unfairly because of the teddy bears.

Yeah Jedi was the Rubicon that saw George Lucas take Star Wars from cultural phenomenon to fully kiddified merch-whore.

I remember reading an article a couple of years ago that charted the loss of a few of the brains behind the first two films who left during early planning for Jedi chiefly because of creative differences with Lucas who was hot on the Ewoks and other assorted shit that markedly brightened the tone from the relative brutality of Empire.

Jedi and the appalling prequels are basically Lucas without the checks, balances and non-sycophants who were able to come together to produce the greatness that was SW and Empire.

Yeah Ray Park killed it as Maul, should have survived to have more sabre battles. Felt he was underutilised.
