A zillion school assemblies, kids' dance concerts, etc in recent decades and no alcohol was ever available. I begin to see why though I don't excuse it.

"The Work Outing" is the best TV episode I have ever watched in my entire life. i laughed for days just thinking about it. The IT Crowd are brilliant.

That episode is legendary in my family. My wife, myself, our 3 then teenage kids - all fell hard for the show from then on. Really the only show all 5 of us agree on. And that is the best episode, I agree.

I had to write an essay in uni about how whether or not Australia was part of the Asian region.

I spent weeks working on it, finding sources and shit to back up the idea that it wasn't. But I just couldn't do it. There was overwhelming evidence to suggest the opposite.

We are a part of Asia.

I had to write an essay in uni about how whether or not Australia was part of the Asian region ....

In a previous generation my father and 2 uncles fought through New Guinea, Malaysia, and a series of Pacific islands to stop that happening. Ironically for one of my uncles he was killed in Borneo and is buried there and so has been Asian much longer than he was Australian.

Edit - and yes Alanis Morissette that is a correct use of 'ironically'

Saw Bradley Cooper last week play his world class air guitar - an old Neil Young song on Jimmy Falloon show. The whole interview was a blast but in particular the air guitar. Love watching the reaction of Jimmy's band The Roots reaction to his performance. Unfortunately the video from the official site cuts out the final 15-20 seconds when the band and Jimmy join in and piss themselves laughing.
