Chicken omlettes: Great, until you realise you're cooking the mother in the unborn juices of their child...
Just got back from food shopping in a market in Khon Kaen ( central Thailand ) My girlfriend saw a fish she liked swimming in a tank, the vendor reached in picked it up wacked it over the head with a mallet and scaled it as it was still trying to flop around. She's cooking the fish at the moment. I'm thinking it's going to taste great. It's a cruel world.

Sadly I can only find this in German. But it still works.

Sadly animals have to die if we are going to feast on them. And before any vegan animal liberation advocates start...so do plants. Salads are just murdered lettuce

Apparently a true story: a mate of mine was telling me about a couple of blokes who were really good mates, although they enjoyed nothing more than stirring the crap out of each other. One day, one of them got engaged, and his mate masterminded a plot. He and several accomplices got the groom to be smashed to the point of unconsciousness, and while he was out they obtained a fake x-ray of a broken leg, and put a ginormous plaster cast on his leg.

When he came to, they convinced him that he had a broken leg. He then went through the wedding ceremony, the reception and the honeymoon with this massive weight on his leg, only to be horrified when he and his bride returned home. His mate could conceal the truth no longer - he made a full confession that it was merely a prank.

Of course when the second man got engaged, he was terrified about what would befall him. The bucks night went off without incident: as did the ceremony and the reception. So the happy couple took off on their honeymoon - the wedding night was one to remember.

Next morning there was a knock on the door. The husband reluctantly called out, "Who is it?"

A voice replied, "Room service."

The husband said, "We didn't order room service."

Then there's a voice from under the bed, "No, but we did." They'd been there all night!!!!!

I eat hydroponic lettuce, made from fake nutrients and reconstructed light.

They have no feelings.

You guys were $1.83

Sportsbet giving money away
With goals coming from a dude who hasn't scored for the club in like 2 years and a lumbering 30 something substitute, we were no certainties.

But holy shit there was a patch there where it was nearly impossible for you guys not to put one in. Record in front of goal is truly awful.

That new signing was pretty lively when he came on though, decent signs.

New puppy = great excuse to watch sport all night.

Oh that's right, I've moved out and no longer have Foxtel!!! Dammit!!!

Was that directed towards Hewson?

Keating is an interesting character for many reasons, not least of all his Question a Time antics towards Hewson. I found it intriguing that he and his wife were quickly on the phone to Hewson & wife, after a miscarriage, to offer condolences.

In the ABC special a year or so ago, he made the point that he had nothing personal against Howard, it was apparently all based on his philosophical/policy/political party differences.

I had assumed very strongly, that Keating's dislike of Howard was very personal.
