Doesn't sound like a bad idea, actually.
It could be worse. You could look like a feminine bush..I have no other pictures of myself where I look manly in the last 5 years...I give up. I'm either feminine or a bush
Especially when they change teams (Le Bron fans). It continues to surprise me how many people get so passionate about foreign teams, in places they in most cases have never been, have no connection with, or seen play live and in many cases (particularly with American sport), never played.

*Not actually the picture I used, but close enough.

That's just semantics for some teams in American sport. Can't see the Cubs or Bears being anything but Chicago in the future. And especially when those American teams have no issue admitting they are franchises

I thinks you need to re read what he posted. It continues to surprise me how many people remain insular, domestically driven and against anybody enjoying the plethora of sports available worldwide. I was a Bulls fan growing up, watching Jordan tear it up, yet I didn't go to the United Center until 2010. I've supported Arsenal for about six years but I didn't go to the Emirates until 2012. And after spending a couple of months in the Pacific Northwest last year, I grew to enjoy Seattle's sporting culture and started supporting the Sounders and Seahawks.
There's nothing wrong with being passionate about a team from the other side of the world. If a club has similar values to me and I in turn identify and feel like a part of the club, does that mean I'm a plastic supporter simply due to the lack of geographical proximity between me and my team of choice?
Port's wasting their time in China aren't they? Why put footy on in the states when they're all fat, ugly, plastic fans who haven't the faintest idea about anything? It's all a futile effort to feel a part of something. It's disgusting, isn't it?
Get off your high horse. And come on you Gunners!
