We got there at about 3:30, watched some shitty mob from the comfort of the trees and then went and saw Fear Factory.

I saw them at SW2012, they were the funniest band i have seen. Shame about the heat, who were the standout bands? Was it a 2 day event this year?

Yeah two days, but I was only interested in yesterday. After Fear Factory it was just Incubus, Soundgarden and Faith No More for us. Soundgarden had the biggest sound of the day, they were spectacular, but FNM did a total fan-service set of big oldies which I loved.

All I remember of incubus was the lead singer getting ambushed by the osbournes camera crew walking along a jetty coming back from a surf bitchtits jack was all "oh it's such and such from incubus" and he was all "oh hi lil girl" or something

Just thought i'd report back in regard to my Ma and Pa on the Gold Coast. No flood damage, all good. But indoor activity's were rife according to my dad.

The opening riff to Outshined gave me an immediate then Birth Ritual pushed me over the edge. Amazing.

As for FNM, Ashes to Ashes was immense. Great set.
