I'm asking people to stop doing something that I find annoying on an internet forum I frequent. I'm judging how they are acting based on their actions directly impacting my enjoyment of the Port board.

Other people are making judgements about a person that they don't know and have nothing to do with based on what they choose to look like.

I'm judging people on how they act, not on how they look.

Other than the tenuous link of "both instances are people showing a general disapproval of something relating to another person" there is absolutely nothing even remotely similar about the two issues, and yet you've called what i'm doing hypocrisy. It's absolutely not hypocrisy in anyone's mind but yours.

Someone tried taking my details and bank details to make some donation to some cause that I really couldn't be bothered listening about because the only reason I stopped was because she had an abnormally large ambling of cleveage showing. Cut the story short when giving fake details so I could leave I couldn't think of a fake last name and I said the first thing I thought of and said was 'Adam Jasper Pittard'. But I tell yah if I tried enough I reckon I could have made her Mrs Jasper Pittard.

No he didnt. He tried to tell me what type of judgement I should find acceptable, lol. No thanks, I'm big enough to make my own decisions on what judgements I find acceptable. You (or S22222A or anyone else for that matter) dont like that, sorry thats your problem not mine. And as I told him at that time, my post was not about what is or isnt acceptable judgements. It was about me laughing at the hypocrisy (at times) in the judgements made around here.

No matter how you try and spin it, you got all judgemental against people you dont know on what was acceptable around here (silly nicks) then got all uppity because people were being judgemental. Granted that was based on meaningless things like tattoos and such. But you dont see that you were doing the same type of thing by being all judgemental about meaningless garbage like silly nicks. IMO.

You see these things as 2 completely separate scenarios. I dont. If that makes me wrong, so be it. But for me, judgement is judgement. I'm not saying its wrong or right, or for Stewart2222222222Austins benefit, acceptable or not acceptable. I dont particularly care. I can and do however see it as hypocrisy at times, despite your attempts to paint the minor differences as the overriding factor.

As I said earlier, we will agree to disagree. I'll keep laughing.
