I had a mixed bag in my Masters at UniSA (completed last year) some overseas students were really lazy, uncommitted and entitled. Others were fantastic, dedicated students who taught me how our learning material was/could be applied back home, as well as an appreciation for what we have here. Humans unfortunately are a diverse bunch, full of both twats and legends; everyone's experience can differ. Overall I really enjoyed working with people from diverse cultures, it helped contextualise everything.Geez, I must have struck it lucky at UniSA (20 years now) doing Engineering. Handful of times in a group with non-native English speakers they were understandable and tried. Might have been all the maths for the subjects made it harder to claim 'language' issues. We all just hated that regardless of race.
I forgot to mention the two sexy South American and Hungarian girls in many of my classes - they may also bias my opinion.
