Probably because they want you to sign up for the free trial. Which will actually lead to you forgetting to unsubscribe after the month and you'll get charged $9.

I've been using it for a couple of years with the help of unblock-us.com - the Australian catalogue may be limited at the moment but you can pay an extra US$5 a month to access every country.

Anyway, Netflix have a one month free trial. iiNet and its subsidiaries are doing it unmetered and Telstra is doubling its broadband data allowances in response. Good times. Give it a go.

Far out I hadn't even noticed my bigpond plan had doubled, just logged in it's gone from 500GB to 1000GB thanks for the heads up lol, jeez I doubt I'll need all that.

I'm betting these startups like Presto and Stan and... whatever those other ones are called... are shitting themselves over how low Netflix has priced itself, largely ignoring the usual "Australia tax". I doubt any will last the next 12 months.

Is there a worse 'countries that care' to 'teams that aren't conpletely shit' to 'length of tournament' ratio in the known universe?

Have you updated the system software or searched for the app? The app was there automatically on my Samsung smart TV.

Yea I've updated the system nadda, TV is only a year or so old i've never tried an app search I've hardly ever bothered with apps on it till now.

Another option is looking at one of those chromecast dongles, I picked one up for $30 with that Stan free trial offer & it works pretty well with Stan & a tablet.

How well does the official app work? Not sure if it was just the TV they used but i've heard a few people say the PS4/XB1 app works/looks better, one of the reasons I decided on picking up a chromecast.
