I must admit that if there is a non-halal version of a product I'll buy it over the halal one assuming they were the same quality/taste.
However, there is no way I'll boycott something because it's halal certified.

Why? If you'd buy it anyway then there is no ethical reason.

So last night went to collect my kids from a Blue Light movie night at Piccadilly Cinema in North Ads. No parks anywhere but found a spot right next to another car on Childers St. Ran in, collected kids, came out ten minutes later ... $89 parking fine because my tyres were "over the yellow line". Eighty ****ing nine ****ing dollars.

The first Laneway Festival in Adelaide was in that space. No one knew what the **** was going on as the sound from one act was impacting on another. Terrible.

They played Soundwave a few years back.

A bloke that had seen them in Sydney said to me "whatever you do don't go and see The Chariot. I don't think they can even play their instruments and it's all just noise and screaming..."
