Schapelle Corby, she can get stuffed though. Just don't like her.![]()
What if you watch the wire while wearing a wire seated near an exposed wire with bird on a wire playing on your tablet worrying about the showdown going down to the wire.

Writing is so spectacular, it's entirely believable, and it gives you a great perspective on the war on drugs and the perpetual cycle of poverty in lower class America. The whole cast is outstanding, I don't recall a bad character.Someone sell that show to me. Everyone say's its amazing but I look at the premise and all I feel is eh....
...what I mean is that it's not like GANGSTERS AGAINST COPS and archetypes and shit, it's genuine.Writing is so spectacular, it's entirely believable, and it gives you a great perspective on the war on drugs and the perpetual cycle of poverty in lower class America. I don't know, any sucker on a forum giving you a run down won't do it justice. It's just the best. If your concern is the premise don't worry at all, it's one of those shows that doesn't lean on anything like that to make it outstanding. I wasn't really into the mobster thing so I was hesitant with The Sopranos but you realise that the world around it isn't the primary focus, but the characters as people.
Probably have Wire in the BloodWhat if you watch the wire while wearing a wire seated near an exposed wire with bird on a wire playing on your tablet worrying about the showdown going down to the wire.

Just ****ing watch it or you will miss out like all those other campaigners that haven't seen it and will never be able to recommend it to others.Someone sell that show to me. Everyone say's its amazing but I look at the premise and all I feel is eh....
Haha, this. Even just seeing the actor who plays Frank Sobotka pop up in a Parks and Rec episode for about thirty seconds is something that would have gone over most people's heads.Just ******* watch it or you will miss out like all those other campaigners that haven't seen it and will never be able to recommend it to others.
FWIW i have watched it twice and now know a second language and might look out of place but wouldn't feel out of place in East or West Baltimore.
Also, it is great watching other shows just to see how many people from the wire are in it.

Breaking Bad was up there, but I enjoyed The Wire more.Greatest TV show ever made. There's The Wire. And then there's the rest. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit...
I was in Vietnam last year for a holiday and loved it!Why piss in your own backyard when you can piss in someone else's?
Only the worst dregs of society go to places like Bali, Bangkok and Vietnam for an actual holiday. They are stopover destinations you visit on the way back from elsewhere to stock up on cheap gifts you can give out like confetti to your friends and relatives.
I couldn't get into either of those 2, and trying hard with Suits at the moment.Mad Men and Sopranos are huge. But The Wire is on its own level.

Not every Australian travelling through Asia necessarily looks like they've come straight off the set of Kath and Kim.
I found Vietnam was a great place to travel if willing to move away from the usual tourist spots.
