Haha, this. Even just seeing the actor who plays Frank Sobotka pop up in a Parks and Rec episode for about thirty seconds is something that would have gone over most people's heads.
Last year I watched Star ship troopers just for the nostalgia because me and my mates loved it when we were about 11.

I noticed Carver from the wire in it, was definitely the highlight of that piece if crap film.

Starship Troopers is great!

Should've won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects but everyone was too busy tugging James Cameron because omg look at that boat shimmering in the sun, Kate Winslet is gee!

The CGI during the battlescenes on Starship Troopers is so complex yet still holds up today, which is pretty much unheard of for a film made almost 20 years ago.

It's just a fantastic movie.

It's by the same director as Robocop, and it's very clearly the Robocop of the late 90s. With Robocop people are all like "oh yes hmmm what a wonderful satirical take on modern consumerism and greed haha" but people seem to miss the point with Starship Troopers and take it on face value as a space wars gore fest for teenage boys.

Yep, we are the lucky generation. Video games till I cark it for me.
I'm personally looking forward to having the time to crack every Zelda game I've missed since the Ocarina of Time. That should take care of a good 15-20 years

I'm looking forward to scoring an online victory in Mortal Kombat before arthritis sets in... Maybe looking forward is a bit presumptuous.

Can imagine myself old and grey blowing out an equally old and grey Nintendo cartridge, haha.

I can't wait to be in one of those cool retirement villages playing PS13 and poker with my mates all day!

Starship Troopers is great!

Denise Richards BC (Before Charlie)
Dina Meyer
Jake Busey
Bugs
Jean Rasczak: Correct. Naked force has resolved more conflicts throughout history than any other factor. The contrary opinion, that violence doesn't solve anything, is wishful thinking at its worst. People who forget that always die.

So many reasons to love this movie.

Such a hit and miss director. Starship Troopers, RoboCop, Total Recall... Showgirls.

You forgot Neil Patrick Harris!
